The Restaurants

The Regency and La Rochelle restaurants in the Hotel Victoria, Newquay are managed and operated by Pickup Catering Limited.

Julian Pickup, Head Chef had been the chef in many local restaurants before coming to the Victoria. He has worked abroad mainly in France and Australia where he gain valuable experience. He uses locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

Jim Pickup, Manager oversees the operation working in the kitchen on Julian's days off to ensure that standards remain 7 days a week. Jim may also serve the wine or wait on tables when required he will definitely make himself known to you.

Alice Pickup is Standards Manager making sure that all is spick and span in the restaurant for your enjoyment.
